Spring Break has been relaxing which is so great honestly. I have been catching up with life and the things I haven’t been able to do for a while.
Such as drawing. Man, it has been a long time since I drawn something. Like something unrelated to graphic design. It’s nice to step away for a bit. I started working on an art project that involves redrawing me and my friends as game characters from our favorite game! It’s a little gift from me to them.
But drawing is such a relaxer, it reminds me of what I love about Art. In art you get creative with your solutions, there’s no defined answer that you must find. Like in math. 1 + 1 = 2, but in Art, you have many solutions to a question. 1 + 1 doesn’t always have to equal 2 in art. It can equal anything. I think that why many people are attracted to art, it doesn’t confine people into a space.
That’s why I like Graphic Design, you aren’t trapped in a box, you design your way out of the box.
