  • Finishing up the Semester

As I finish up my first year at Southeast Tech in the Media Degree, I looked back upon the entire year. All my struggles, all of the projects we done, all the friends I made and lost. I have realized I have grown from that awkward person I was in the beginning as I gotten more comfortable at this school. As I gotten better with the program and my skills.

My skills have improve greatly. Cause I looked back on my older projects from the beginning of the year, I seen how much progress I have achieved. I’m going to be honest, they looked bad compared to what I can make now. I find that wonderful. As humans we get to change from day to day. You aren’t the same person as you were in August. You gotten better and I find that beautiful.

  • Personal Interests

I have many interests in this wild world. But one of my favorite interests is plants! Plants have been a stress reliever for me. As it’s like a small part of my day where I can forget about the outside world. Where my plants are basically a mini world within my room where I control everything. It’s relaxing but the only time it isn’t relaxing is when the plants are dying. Or when the plants have magically gained pests and I have to send them to my makeshift plant hospital in the living room.

But still, I love plants. Over 50 plants in my room, and usually it takes me an hour in order to water and take care of them every single week.

  • Tin Can Production News

For my video production classes, I use the name Tin Can Productions as my name for my “studio” for my videos.

As I worked throughout the two semesters, I evolved my skills in the video editing and animating programs. In the beginning I was god awful at it as I did not know the program and the audio was weird and the animated items did not appear on time. But with the class I learned more about the program and my animations got better over time.

With the video class it was the same case. As in the beginning my video editing skills were manageable as my videos made people laugh. On the technical side I was still off with skills. But as we learned more and more projects I got better. My plan for the summer is to work on the programs to keep skills up. So I don’t revert all this progress I achieved.

Below is an image from my team video production, though due to using the free option I cannot add the video.
